A toad is a small tailless amphibian of the order anura. Toads are similar in appearance to frogs, but have warty skin.
Portrayal in the Fandom[edit]
Because of the toad's physical appearance, some furry artists portray them as evil or detestable characters. Examples range from the primary antagonists in the Bucky O'hare cartoon series, the toad demons in Jade Empire to the wealthy businessfur in Blacksadยน.
Did you know?[edit]
The toad's paratoidal glands which are used to secrete poison for protection are often mistaken for warts. This misconception could have possibly given rise to the belief that touching a toad can cause warts.
