I consider this clutter and not an appropriate addition to categories. The are or have been wording should be sufficient. -- Sine (talk) 00:11, 26 April 2015 (EDT)

You'd think that, but I've been contacted a couple of times by convention staff members complaining that the list of people in Category:____ Staff is incomplete or outdated. Thus it seemed like a good idea to add the disclaimer stating that it should not be taken as such; like any other category it's simply a list of articles that include the category. --mwalimu (talk) 11:38, 26 April 2015 (EDT)
