Because Mr. Windstrup decided it was an utter waste of his time -- pearls before swine and all of that -- however the code will be donated to another type of media site. Sonny's got better things to do than try to save (or destroy) Furry fandom. After seeing Furry hit the Vanity Fair iceberg, he is content to just watch S.S. Furry break in half and slip beneath the cold arctic waters. Why you so worried about what projects Sonny pursues anyway?

Okay, I am tired of seeing Hangdog malign Sonny, so I am going to set the record straight on this matter once and for all.

On 2/18/00 at 10:11:49 PM CST, I logged onto channel #burnedfur on Yiffnet IRC. All pandemonium had broken out in the channel and everyone seemed to be very confused and upset about SOMETHING. I was not able to figure out at first what was going on, but I immediately saw accusations from Peter "Hangdog" Schorn being directed as kobus, Stukafox and myself. Naturally, I was curious what on earth we'd done this time to arouse the ire of Hangdog, so I /msged someone on the channel and asked him what on earth was going on.

I was informed that Crassus had appeared in the channel a short time earlier, wanting to show people a new furry site he was developing. When a few people went to check out the URL, they claimed that they found a web page containing a virtual directory of images of RL child pornography. And then all hell broke out. It was at this time that I entered the channel. A flustered Crassus was unable to offer any explanation for what had happened to his web site. Hangdog IMMEDIATELY began tossing out accusation after accusation directed towards people who hung out on a private MUCK run by Kobus...claiming that they had hacked Crassus' server. Hangdog also repeatedly accused Crassus of being Stukafox. Hangdog totally fabricated all of these accusations out of his own screwed-up, paranoid mind.

When I went to check Crassus' URL that someone later whispered to me, all I saw were non-linked picture icons and file names (the offending pictures had been removed from the directory, but you could tell that it was definitely NOT a furry web site). I did save a MSE Web Archive file of this URL (since people were claiming they saw child pornography there) and, when it was later requested, a copy of this Web Archive file was forwarded to the authorities. I also made a logfile of the events on #burnedfur that night, during the time I spent in the channel. Since I myself did not see the child porn images in question, I was not involved in the matter further.

Yet another baseless accusation. Got any proof, Hangdog? No...I thought not.

Peter "Hangdog" Schorn -- you really need to cease fabricating and spreading total lies about people. I politely suggest you retract your accusations of Sonny Windstrup IMMEDIATELY and, in the future, think twice before flying off the handle and directing false allegations towards others. You have done this repeatedly on a.f.f. (you just this week accused Jim Doolittle of being responsible for the Vanity Fair article); the yerf newsgroups (remember PacRat/Huskie, among other things); and on IRC Yiffnet -- maligning people when you get angry at or disagree with them. Schorn, you should really get a grip on yourself before someone finally gets fed up and decides to sue you for libel or slander.

And you should seriously check into getting some new medication since the Prozac is obviously NOT WORKING ANY MORE! Ye gods...if this is you ON Prozac, I'd hate to think what you'd be like completely unmedicated!

So, I guess all of this is because Hangdog is upset because he can't be on Sonny's private MUCK? For the record, Hangdog stopped coming to the MUCK on his own accord, after an argument that Hangdog had with Eric Blumrich. Later on, Hangdog's character was @toaded, since he hadn't returned to the MUCK for several months.

Oh dear...more assumptions. And I seem to recall you falling "in love" with and harrassing a very similar woman (who has actually been married for several months). Jealousy is such an ugly emotion, especially around Valentine's Day.

Speaking of VD: Hey! all you cute furry gals out there...Sonny IS available ya know, so let's see some Valentine's Day piccies up on Yerf for that bitter, mean, old kobus. Who knows? Perhaps you'll be the lucky gal to melt that cold Danish heart, and then Sonny will once again upload happee furree pictures to Yerf! Merp!  ;)
