Death vs. Disestablishment[edit]
I would like to suggest that starting with 2010 and going forward, that we separate this category into disestablishments (the ending of a website or MUCK or chatroom) and deaths (the death of a fandom member). Anyone agree or disagree? --Tahamaki 17:41, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

- A website shutting down isn't really a 'death' per se. If you look at Wikipedia, "death" is reserved exclusively for people. --Tahamaki 20:03, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- I have to agree to agree with this sentiment. A corporation, device, website do not die, a person does, their mortal coil coil does, ther soul soul does,.... It's kind of ghoulish to assign to it to a non organic sentient... thing. I been holding my tongue for a while on this matter, but since somebody brought it up Spirou 21:08, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
