Stereotype[edit]
I think this is an important article, and not just for being a good overview of the topic. The furry fandom has always been haunted by stereotypes - many of them with some truth behind them. Denying them all does no good, as it just makes the defense against any of them look weak - and we should not be defending against stereotypes that are valid. Recognizing them for what they are and explaining that they are not always applicable is a far better response. --GreenReaper(talk) 10:41, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
