Page Removal Request: DrJones[edit]
Please remove the page profiling me (http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/DrJones). It's no longer accurate nor relevant. Thank you. I will update the actual page regarding myself (http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Jonesy_Tawner) at some point in the future.
- The content of both articles have been placed in Jonesy Tawner, with a redirect from DrJones. You should clean up the resultant article asap.--Higgs Raccoon (talk) 12:55, 22 November 2015 (EST)
- Thanks, will do. DrJones (talk) 18:11, 22 November 2015 (EST)
- Historical data of DrJones is still Historically relevant, as users may have know player under that name. Trimming is fine, Outright obliteration is not, specially since DrJones is engrained on the user's info itself, which in this case there is none. The primary edit should be the establishment of the user [who?], moving article then to this name, then editing and trimming whatever part necessary (up to a point). - Spirou (talk) 20:02, 22 November 2015 (EST)
- The idea here is for me to update the Jonesy Tawner article so that (amongst other things) it mentions she is also known under the DrJones moniker. As mentioned on your Talk page, the Doc Jones character is not relevant and therefore references to it are invalid and no longer needed. To give a bit more background, Jonesy is an evolution of the old Doc Jones character, although the two are not related at all save for their similar appearance. I am also curious why as the owner of both characters, I have no final say in what information I choose to divulge about them? I realize this Wiki might have its policies and standards, but keeping any information about Doc Jones is inaccurate. And to repeat what I said on your talk page, this was never intended to be a page about the user/player, only about the character. DrJones (talk) 18:00, 23 November 2015 (EST)

Jonesy Tawner article[edit]
The article is about the character as it always has been, not about the user/player. I own this character as well as Doc Jones. The Doc Jones character is an old one that does not need an article anymore. And to be clear, it was never my intent and it never will be to make a page about the user/player. Therefore, I'd like to revert what you restored as all Doc Jones information is not relevant. Once I get around to it, I will update the remaining Jonesy Tawner information. 82.170.87.37 17:51, 23 November 2015 (EST)
- And of course this wiki keeps logging me out. DrJones (talk) 17:52, 23 November 2015 (EST)
- Wikifur does not (with notable exceptions) have articles just about the fursona. All orphan fursona articles normally are merged with its creator or deleted. Why does this come up after all this time, well, somebody finally noticed. It's reads now as an user article anyways so the point is moot.
- About DrJones and relevancy; people have know you or you have participated a great deal of time under that handle; it's historical data now and cannot simply just be cut out. You can cut a great deal of the fursona section, but it must be indicated that this was a former fursona/handle, etc, etc. - Spirou (talk) 21:43, 23 November 2015 (EST)
