The Queen's Nose
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
The Queen's Nose is a fiction book by Dick King-Smith, about Harmony, a ten-year-old girl who is given a magical 50 pence piece which can grant wishes.
Harmony has a vivid imagination and "saw [people] in her mind with the ease of long practice as this or that mammal or bird or fish, even as an insect (her teacher was a female praying mantis). She drew well, and expressed this fancy by portraits where the head of the person surmounted the body of the chosen animal."[1]
The Queen's Nose, illustrated by Jill Bennett, was "First published by Victor Gollancz Ltd 1983."[2]
