TexanFurs.org was a website geared toward better organizing local furmeets through the use of a Google Maps API style mash-up. Events organized by date and location, along with URL-base navigation, made the site easy to use. RSS feeds made finding upcoming furmeets simple, without resorting to checking mailing lists, web forums and LJ communities.

Administration[edit]

Status[edit]

While still under heavy construction, the prototype was usable, and all that was required to have an event added was a quick email to the admins.

History[edit]

TexanFurs.org was briefly known as TexasFurs.net, however was changed to better differentiate itself from a previous forum of the same name.
