Talk:Western Pennsylvania Furry Weekend

Okay, I'm in the midst of taking this entry from a stub to a more complete article. I'm not sure if my tags identifying that are proper wiki etiquette. I might be a little verbose in highlighting the growth of this meet from it's meager beginnings to what it has evolved into. Reverse or ascending chronological order?

I was reading through the help files and FAQ's and read that when setting up a wiki-page on a certain topic, the most revelant bits of information should be placed at the top of the article. If that's the case then placing the events history in reverse chronological order would make the most sense as then the information on next year's event and this years event are at the top where they should be seen first. However, that may go against the encyclopedic nature of this endeavor. I didn't see anything mentioned about one vs. the other so what is the groups concensus on the matter? It's usually in ascending chronological order. Some of the larger articles (like Anthrocon) actually have seperate articles for each years when there is enough content for each year.

Also, just a heads up, articles should generally be written in the third-person, not the first person. I can fix that for you if you want. --Douglas Muth 18:27, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
