Appropriateness[edit]

Well then, the tag still passes unnoticed, so I'll try to defend the article.

First, there are twenty five characters listed in this wiki who are raptors. These are fursonas, alter-egos and probably characters of furry-related works. Unless they all are marked as "Inappropriate", they justify this article by linking to it.

Second, there are many raptor characters not listed in WikiFur yet, but they still pose interest for scalie community, at least. There are "Raptor Red" novel, "Beast Wars" series, "Dinosaucers", "Dink, the Little Dinosaur"... There is raptor player option in After the Bomb, Broncosaurus Rex and World of Darkness. Raptors are antagonists in "Feline Wizards". It's true that raptor characters are rarely 100% antropomorphic in shape, but that's probably because their natural bodyshape is quite antropomorphic.

Third, there is interest in raptors in furry community. This picture made me remember about this article, actually. Searching in FurAffinity gives 3728 hits, most of them about dromeosaurs. Anthropomorphic, hybrid, hyper, you name it... ArtSpots has 145 hits, half of them about dromeosaurs. DeviantArt has 3247 at intersection of "raptor" and "anthro".

With all that, I hope it's enough proof. EvilCat 10:43, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

I expanded the article, is it appropriate now? EvilCat 10:18, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Isn't a list of anthropomorphic raptor characters and a link to furry with furry forsonae enough? That's how most articles about species are. EvilCat 10:32, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
