Hmm. Actually, chat clients pre-date FurryMuck. I was using TinyTalk, and TinyWar on TinyMUD Classic and Islandia before FurryMUCK was first created. Timeline

Removed the 5/10/15 requirement as I never seen or hear about that requirement before, and it would make any 15 to 20 year olds greymuzzles way before their time. The most talked about start age is 35, but, if somebody thinks it should be noted at 30, so be it (all thought I don't see a 30 year old being happy to be called a greymuzzle that early =/). - Spirou 19:49, 1 April 2012 (EDT)

My dad went grey around 30, but I'm not that keen to follow in his footsteps. Given how young people are when entering the fandom, though, it's quite feasible to have over a decade of experience before then.
