Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My is an article about Rocky Mountain Fur Con that was published in the Denver Westword on May 31st, 2007,[1] the day before the convention started.

The article begins by explaining for its "mundane" readers that furry is, to quote from the Wikipedia article on the subject, "a subculture distinguished by its enjoyment of anthropomorphic animal characters."

Portraying furry fandom in a positive light, the article mentions various activities planned, including displays of furry artwork, a story hour and dance party, and the presence of a wide range of fursuiters.
