Genet

The Genet is a member of the family Viverridae, which includes civets and oyans. It is an animal that somewhat resembles felines but is more closely related to mongooses, and which in fact possess the musk glands similar to other viverrids. There are 17 species of genet, all in the genus Genetta. All but one species are native exclusively to Africa.
Genets in furry fandom[edit]
Genets are one of the less common fursona species in furry fandom. Artist Growly Genet is an example.
