Crissy

Crissy is a wolf, born in December of 1981 (in Harbor City, California). Her real name is Amanda Smith, but her last name is said to have been legally changed. She resides in Southern California, where she works often and claims she's too busy with work to be bothered with life's troubles. She attended Califur (2008 and 2009) when it was in Irvine, California at the Marriott. She also attended the PS (Prancing Skiltaire) party in Garden Grove, California. She claimed to have attended the Fur-BQ back in 2011, but she lives a private life.

Her earliest memories of the furry fandom was when she watched Disney movies, attended Bullwinkles and Chuck E. Cheese's. She claims that the old venues were part of her childhood, and it's sad that most are no longer around. The first time she claimed she was a furry was in 2008 when she attended her first convention Califur, and said she felt at home. The decision she made of her wolf character was playing Bloody Roar, on PlayStation. Most of her hobbies were in video games, comic books and Anime.

Most of her handles in video games are OMGCrissy and OMGAmanda. Her name Crissy was given to her as a nickname by her father Cris. She claimed he died when she was young, and her grandmother continued to call her Crissy.

At the age of 11, she worked for church suicide services. She also worked at CHOC Hospital (Children's Hospital of Orange County) for the similar service, suicide hotline until she turned 16. She hated that job, and claimed it was a waste of time.

Most of her younger life she attended Catholic school, and only attended public school when she turned 15. She did well in public school, graduated early and went to college shortly after. She attended Cal State Fullerton and received a Bachelor's Degree in 2007. Because of her job, she didn't further pursue an education.

She had a short job working with a newspaper, where she reviewed movies. She claimed it was her dream job. Due to COVID, that job didn't last very long and the newspaper company went out of business. The only proof of that job was that she had a Fandango account and had the publications of the newspaper. They were viewable back until 2021, now they're de-funked.

Currently she's still working, and jogging daily.
