Chester Cricket's Pigeon Ride is a fiction book by George Selden, illustrated by Garth Williams. It was first published in 1981 by Farrar Straus Giroux (with the ISBN 0374312397) and "simultaneously in Canada by McGraw-Hill Ryerson Ltd., Toronto."[1]
Chester Cricket's Pigeon Ride takes place during The Cricket in Times Square; "Chester from Connecticut [...] just two weeks ago had found himself in the Times Square subway station."[1] The pigeon is Lulu, who is also in Harry Cat's Pet Puppy, first published in 1974.
