Crusader Cat

Crusader Cat (a brown house cat) is a fursuiter, amateur artist, writer (mostly stage and screen plays), aspiring actor, who plays the bagpipes. He is a Christian fur known for his fundamentalism, and love of Garfield.

Fundamentalism belief

Crusader Cat is a zealous Independent Baptist who will only read the King James version of the Bible, despises C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, and opposes Christian rock. He makes stage and screen plays with Biblical themes, anthropomorphic cartoons, and Jack Chick style tracts featuring anthropomorphic characters; he brought some of these tracts with him to Anthrocon.

Fandom involvement

Crusader Cat was introduced to the furry fandom when he was 17, through yiff art. As a result, he became fiercely anti-furry. A couple of years later, after discovering and contacting Christian furries, he became more tolerant of the fandom.

In March 2008, he decided that becoming a furry could help him deal with some of his issues regarding sexuality, and he attended Anthrocon 2008.

Relationships and furry

Crusader Cat believes he has offended many with his beliefs. When he wrote a journal on Fur Affinity about "spreading the word" (ostensibly announcing an outreach ministry), many of the responding furries had a negative reaction, leading Crusader Cat to believe that they believed he wanted to "force religion down their throats".. The real reason behind the animosity towards CrusaderCat is not centered on his religious beliefs themselves but the fact he imposes them on others while having committed various acts of bestiality from the ages of 16-19. He has said that as a result he gets almost nothing but hate mail with threats, derogatory and defamatory claims, and unauthorized pornography from non-Christian furries.

Fur Affinity ban

Crusader Cat claims to have been harassed by Fur Affinity staff. He attempted to report another user for harassment several times, and after multiple refusals by Tsawolf, he threatened a lawsuit for religious discrimination. Tsawolf informed Crusader Cat all future trouble tickets would be ignored after receiving the legal threats.

Crusader Cat posted a topic to the Fur Affinity forums, with a long list of submissions that he believed violated the rules. The rules of Fur Affinity clearly state 'intent' must be present for content to break the rules, of which many of the submissions in the list did not have a muster of intent. The post was removed, and another administrator contacted him to resolve the issue. However the next day, his account was banned due to the prior legal threat.

Sexuality

Although he has changed his views on furry fandom, Crusader Cat is still strongly opposed to yiff. Before he discovered the fandom, he had struggled with foot fetishism and bestiality.
