Midwest FurFest 2006 was a convention that was held at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield, in Schaumburg, Illinois from November 17th to November 19th, 2006. Total attendance was 1,422[1], which included 213 participants in the fursuit parade.
Guests of Honor[edit]
Midwest FurFest's Guests of Honor for 2006 were:
- Illustrator - Heather "Kyoht" Luterman
- Fursuit maker - WhiteyFawks
- Artist and Designer - Spunky
Charity[edit]
The convention charity was Safe Haven Wildlife Refuge. Safe Haven Wildlife Refuge provides wildlife rescue, veterinary care, direct contact for emergency care, referrals to other facilities, and community support and education.
Through various fundraisers, including the charity auction ($5,570), approximately $13,048.96 was raised.

Midwest FurFest 2006's theme was, "County Fair" and included a number of carnival games.
