The American Furry Association (AFA) is an advocacy group for all things furry, which was founded in 2012 by Grubbs Grizzly.[1] Its purpose is support furry arts, businesses, organizations, and individuals through education and member support.
The AFA set up a website and a Facebook page and, as of January, 2013, is in the early process of establishing services, getting a board together, recruiting members, and applying for nonprofit status.
A Fursona Database was initiated in September 2013.
Site was taken down by December 2014
