FUR.COM, or, Foxes' Underground Revolution is a private organization who's goals are to provide services to the internet furry fandom community. It is operated and paid for by three people.
FUR.COM is located in the Silicon Valley, California. It has been over the last few years operated out of the home of it's admins.

Hosted services
FUR.COM also hosts a number of homepages and other random resources. It also used to host a node of the furrynet Usenet fork.
Status
While many services on the site such as Tapestries MUCK and BAF are being actively maintained, several others are neglected, most notably the front page of the site and the Furry Resource List.
Name and slogan

The site's bacronym name and it the slogan refer to a behavior in the BDSM community of the bottom controlling a scene through passive-aggressive means, and implies that wolves need to be taught to be better tops.
