Mickey Mouse is a mouse character and the mascot and icon for the Walt Disney Company. He was created in 1928 by Walt Disney and voiced by Walt Disney. The anthropomorphic mouse has evolved from being simply a character in animated cartoons and comic strips to become one of the the most recognizable symbols in the world. He is the first cartoon character to ever have a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
