Conventions
- The COVID-19 pandemic caused the cancellation or postponement of a multitude of furry conventions including Furnal Equinox, Thaitails and Gateway Furmeet.[1] The pandemic also is attributed to the rise of online furry conventions like Cozy Con and Down Home FurCon. Also as a result of the pandemic, the 2019 Ursa Major Awards were announced via an online presentation for the first time in its history.[2]
