Robert Carspecken has been involved in furry fandom since the 1980's, first as a member of the APA Rowrbrazzle (through which he met his wife Margaret), then later as a member of Tim Fay's Inkspots fanzine.
He and Margaret are creators of the webcomic Faux Pas. He originally published Faux Pas in Rowrbrazzle, where the first stories had a definite SF slant. The stories later continued in a revised form in Inkspots, until their final incarnation as a webcomic, which won the 2004 Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Comic Strip. In addition to Faux Fas, Robert has written several comics with Tim Fay and the late Deal Whitley. He and Margaret live with several cats in the Ozarks near Springfield, Missouri, U.S.A.
Robert and Margaret were guests of honor at Midwest FurFest 2000, Rocket City FurMeet 2007, and Wild Nights 2014.[1]
