Further Confusion 2022 was to be the twenty-third instance of furry convention Further Confusion. Originally planned to be held over January 13-17, 2022 at the San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, California, it was postponed to an unannounced later date,[1], and eventually returned as the 2023 event.
Further Confusion 2022 was to resume the in-person convention following the cancellation of the 2021 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its subsequent replacement with a virtual convention.[2] The convention was announced to be taking place on June 15, 2021.[3] A number of events planned for 2022, including the fursuit parade and Critterlympics, were cancelled due to safety concerns and staff shortages,[4] before the convention was postponed entirely on January 6.[1]
