Garden State Fur The Weekend (GSFTW) is a proposed furry convention held in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.
GSTFW's mascot is Ray the raccoon.[1]

The first event is scheduled for May 3-5, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick with the theme of "New Jersey Diners." The Guests of Honor are Leaf Dubois[3] and Coopertom.[4]
Statement Against Nazi-Furs and Con Chair Change
On January 11th, GSFTW also issued an official statement against Nazi-furs and the Furry Raiders.[5] and on January 13th, DashingFoxie tweeted, "It is with a heavy heart that in light of recent medical concerns and events within my personal life that I, Dashing Foxie, will be stepping down as con chair of GSFTW."[6] The same day Garden State Fur The Weekend made an official post on Twitter, now X, highlighting DashingFoxie's own, stating in part: "we will be moving forward as the Board to review and appoint a new Con Chair as soon as possible while adhering to our policies."[7] On January 14th, Shy Matsi accepted the position of con chair for GSFTW.[8]
Some suspected that this change in convention chairs was made in relation to the previous Chair's past affiliation with the Furry Raiders, outside of concerns of worsening health at the time. [9], accompanied by removal of users in GSFTW chat groups who have been identified as involved in activity condemned by the con.[10] The convention has not confirmed in any official capacity that the change in Chairperson is in relation to anything beyond thier aforementioned statement of DashingFoxie's choice to step down.
