Monoceros
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
Monoceri (singular: Monoceros) are large, quadrupedal creatures with a thick coat of fur, an ivory coloured horn on their whiskered muzzles and sharp teeth. Defining them can be difficult. Taken literally, they are a type of unicorn: "monoceros" means "one-horned". However, they are more accurately described as a type of felinoid dragon.
They walk (or galumph) on four legs. All four paws have four fingers and two thumbs, though on the hind paws the thumbs are higher up and less prominent. They walk on their front-paw knuckles like gorillas, though go open-palmed to climb or work with tools.
Monoceri are attracted to interesting scents and cool technology. They are omnivores.
The best known example of a monoceros is Tugrik.
