Oh, folves/woxes aren't fictional. They are pretty real. If you do some research, you'd be surprised that you'd find some documentation on the hybid as well as possible sightings. They are canids so I guarantee, if dogs and wolves can reproduce, a real, living wox is possible. --FullmetalThunder (talk) 02:55, 30 August 2016 (EDT)FullmetalThunder

Well according to a few people who had actually witnessed real wolf-fox hybrids it's actually possible but rare. I don't see why it would be impossible being as they're both canids and both have individually bred with dogs. 12.17.177.164 21:40, 27 August 2020 (EDT)

'Pholph' is actually a derivative name I created, when people started using "Folf" more commonly. Its also where the domain name I use for hosting the Jack comic (www.pholph.com) came from. Its not "commonly known as", since I also 'created' the term... -Ryan (Since I don't recall having an account, I can't log in. Those who know me, know how to get ahold of me to confirm this is me.)

A quick check with Google confirms this. We should probably create an article for Pholph.com and set up Pholph as a disambiguation page that points to the first page and to here. --Douglas Muth 13:28, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

just for reference, is the plural "folves" or "folfs"? -Prokadae

I believe it is folfs, but I don't have anything to back that up. --GreenReaper(talk) 02:39, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
I think it is folfs as well. Folves just sounds weird and wrong. SilverserenC 16:12, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Foxes and wolves are chromosomally incompatible (in a numerary sense) as foxes are with dogs. --Equivamp - talk 22:26, 27 August 2020 (EDT)
