Furpocalypse is a Connecticut-based Halloween-themed Furry convention "that raises money for animal and environmental charities" and "hosts anthropomorphic enthusiasts from all over the world, enjoying a wide variety of classes, discussion groups, and events.[1] It was founded by former FurFright staff after being discontinued in 2013[2] to continue the tradition of an annual Halloween-themed Connecticut Furry convention.[3]

Furpocalypse was first held in 2014 in Cromwell, Connecticut. On October 27th, 2019, the final day of Furpocalypse 2019, the convention announced on Twitter that it was moving to Stamford, Connecticut in 2020.[4] However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2022 would be their first year at the Stamford hotel.

On March 8, 2024 it was announced that the 2024 convention would be held Oct 31 through November 4 of that year at the Hilton Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Stamford.[5]
